Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern use of the Rimio app (“the App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service
The App provides reminders via alarms or local notifications before calendar events start. Adding events to your device calendar is free. Reminders use a free quota; some features require the paid plan “Rimio Pro” (“Pro”), including unlimited reminders and optional Google Calendar.
2. Accounts and integrations
- OS calendar permission depends on device settings.
- Google Calendar linking is optional. Google’s terms and privacy policy also apply when linked.
- You can disconnect in App settings or from your Google Account.
3. Paid subscription (Rimio Pro)
- Pro is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly / yearly).
- Prices are those shown in the store at purchase.
- Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Manage or cancel auto-renewal in each store’s subscription settings. After cancellation, Pro features may remain available until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds follow each store’s policies.
4. Prohibited uses
- Use that violates law or public order
- Unauthorized access, modification, or reverse engineering of the App or related systems
- Infringement of others’ rights
- Interference with service operations
5. Disclaimers
- Alarm/notification delivery depends on OS and device state (battery limits, permissions, silent mode, etc.). Please also check important events yourself.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for calendar sync delays or omissions, or outages of external services.
- The App is provided as-is, without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.
6. Intellectual property
Rights in the App and related content belong to the operator or rightful owners.
7. Changes and termination
We may change these Terms; changes take effect when posted on this page. We may also modify or discontinue the service when necessary.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
